Thanks to its high altitude of up to 3,340m, the Sölden glacier ski area guarantees a long and snow-sure skiing season from mid-September to early May. Our 34 kilometers of slopes are divided into two distinct areas: the sporty Rettenbach Glacier and the gentle Tiefenbach Glacier (perfect for families).
Both glacier areas are connected by the 1.8km long Rosi-Mittermaier-Ski Tunnel. You can access the slopes via Europe's highest paved glacier road or take advantage of our convenient and free Glacier Ski Bus starting from Sölden.

At an altitude of 3,000m, UV radiation is significantly more intense, and snow reflects up to 80% of UV rays:
- Use sunscreen with SPF 50+ and lip balm with integrated UV protection.

You can hop directly on the free glacier ski bus or take a 15-minute drive via the glacier road to reach the base stations.
There are large free parking areas available directly at the base stations of both glaciers. We recommend purchasing your ski pass in the valley or online in advance, as the glacier road is subject to a toll, which is waived if you hold a valid ski pass.
